Le Capitole Hôtel

Overall, beautiful hotel and incredible staff and great location. Food was great at the cafe below the building. Rooms were comfortable, Oliver and Julian were wonderful, and Charles at the bar. We had an issue with our AC and our room was 25-26 degrees. We ended up having to move rooms after the second day as it could not be fixed. I was a little upset with Charles at the front desk who offered $100 off our price for this inconvenience. When you are paying $360+ a night this did not seem fair. Other than that it was wonderful. Highly recommended!

The best hotel in Canada- my family and I have travelled all around Canada to some of the best hotels and we can say with confidence that this is the best hotel we have stayed at. It is a new hotel with state of art rooms and furniture (honestly the interior design was fantastic and airy). The staff were extremely kind and friendly, they made our stay even better. We would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants a pleasant stay at Quebec City, and the location is perfect- it is just steps away from all the main locations, and you will be stunned from the view from your room and the lobby. Things to pay attention to: - The lobby is on the 7th floor. - The rooms are outfitted with bluetooth chargers and charger ports on the sides of the bed. - There is a nice relaxing area on the 6th floor.

Over all I enjoyed my stay, people are very nice, welcoming and generous. Everything is very modern, newly renovated and beautiful. Its location at the entry of the old quebec is attractive too. The restaurant is superb and clearly surpassed what I know from other hotels. All said and done, it doesn't qualify as a 5 stars hotel, the ''bling'' that comes with 5 stars is different, no valet parking to begin with, reception is at the 7th floor, they don't offer bottles of water inside the room, too much from the outside construction sites, these little details normally count as the fifth star and makes the difference. (I've seen a lot of 5stars hotel and I am judging as such) Again I enjoyed my stay because of its people (what counts most), I liked the hotel and I do recommend it, but I would weight the other options vs the price you're gonna pay

Lovely hotel with the best view on the old town. Plus, keeping the pool access during covid by allowing one room per time slot is perfect. The staff was friendly and easy going, great service ! The downsides : no full length mirror in the suite, the bed was squeaky and not super comfy - like we both didn't sleep cause wed wake up every time one moves ... That's bad - and the included breakfast was a cold, plain and dry lunch box... They didn't give us any choice or anything. That's very disappointing as many hotels, especially those with a restaurant attached like this one , kept serving hot buffet food in lunch box format or room service despite the covid situation... And give guest a choice card or something. So that's was quite a disappointment not to be able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with the view.
