Sofitel Montréal Le Carré Doré

Loved loved loved the place!! The staff are so helpful.. the safety measures in place for covid are indeed amazing. Located centrally with easy access to shopping, eating and tourist locations. The room was comfy and the TV had a built-in chrome cast. Amazing WiFi!!

This hotel is a nice facility, but needs some major improvement in customer skills if it aims to be a finer hotel in Montreal. The staff are actually good people, it just seems that they have very little on going training in customer service. I can give numerous examples through my 3 day business stay, as I said its really too bad, they're all very, very nice people, just seems like they are missing consistent and up to date customer service oriented training of a high caliber. Otherwise, the facilities are nice, but again some strange things missing - no garbage can anywhere in lobby, Morning coffee is taken off the lobby at 9 am sharp, the computers in business centres are good but haven't been checked to see if working well, the middle computer is in Russian keyboard and I couldn't figure out how to convert to English. Many, many other areas of small but significant improvement could be had, if the will on part of the management is there........

Very comfortable hotel experience. I did have some issues with the room I got, as it was getting very humid and cold overnight (Even after tinkering with the AC). Nothing too terrible, and I will assume that was a one-off as none of the my colleagues had similar issues. I will stay there again for convenience.

Really nice place, very clean and well managed with a beautiful staff. Every single one of them was very nice to me and helpful at all times. The prime rib, the chicken club sandwich, the french fries, the breakfast, did I mention the fries? The fries!!! Everything was delicious. Just one detail ... they could have softer towels In my opinion...

Service was excellent and the COVID protocols were in place and enforced. For example when we left the hotel for a period of time we were politely asked for a temperature check every time. Great shower with a rain spout from the ceiling. Good job Sofitel staff! I look forward to staying there again in the future.
