Absolutely delicious! It was a total experience for us. I had the “poulet à la crème” which was divine. Portions are big too!

Exceptional service and the sugar Shack menu was to die for, Martin Picard never ever ever disappoints, it is just delicious and an experience each time I eat his food! Compared to other places that turned out to be a huge letdown, you can always count on Pied de Cochon

Worth the drive (from Toronto). Burrata with tomatoes and canteloupe is fantastic! I can't believe I've never had it before. The Mushroom Pie (with foie gras) is an appetizer for four people. Service is friendly and happy to describe the dishes. Patio is very pleasant, casual space.

The people complaining about the food being rich clearly didn’t do their research - that’s what this place is about: Indulgence. The ingredients are always fresh and local (usually not ranging further from the province of Quebec) and if you’re concerned about the price tag then you don’t appreciate local food enough. A lot of what’s in their dishes comes from their immediate property. Every bite was incredible and comforting. Lots of well thought out takes on classics as well as innovative new dishes in an unapologetically french-canadian experience/setting. Don’t go if you’re looking for a kale salad and some tempeh just so you can later complain that a place with the name “pig” in it didn’t have enough vegetarian options or was too rich.
