L'Escogriffe Bar

Cool venue. Decent sound. The newer layout is way better than it used to be. More spacious. The beer selection is decent, but honestly I can't remember what they have because I usually leave there three sheets to the wind.

Great bar. Caught a fantastic show this weekend. Bravo to Billy Raffoul for an amazing performance. A true talent. Kudos to Escogriffe for booking him. The quality of the sound for the show was excellent.

Such a great vibe, you can tell a lot of regulars come here. Bartender was down-to-earth and made some great drinks. Great place to check out!

Cool staff, cosy venue with band live, amazing vibe!

Cozy place, lots of seating options and live bands. What more could you ask for? Sound quality was good. Came here to see one of my favourite bands (Reina Del Cid, Nov 26th 2019) and it did not disappoint! Would have given 5 stars if the bartender had been honest. Giving only 3 stars because the bartender lied. I had only one $20 on me, and without thinking bought a draft with it, a little under $8 (my mistake, I should have used debit/credit instead, didn't see a terminal and didn't think to ask). When it came time to buy some merchandise from the artist I was short $5, as the cheapest thing was $15. There is no cash machine in the bar, so I asked the bartender if he could do cashback and he went out of his way to lie to me, when a simple ''no'' could have sufficed. He told me that they didn't have any money in their register as they only took card. Which was a lie, since I had paid for my beer in cash. There is a bank nearby, but at 11pm I didn't feel safe going there alone. So no merch for me, and a lesson learned.
