The view from the Henley Room is what sold us. It is an incredibly versatile space that was perfect for our event. The event manager Robin was extremely helpful and accommodating. When we had family from out of town to see the space for the 2nd time months before our planned event she had no problem letting us slip in to show them. We had booked out event in 2020 at this stunning space back in 2019 and unfortunately our event was disrupted by the pandemic. The Henley Room was truly amazing to work with pre-pandemic and during. Sadly we cannot re-schedule this particular event but The Henley Room was willing to work with us whatever we decided to do. I cannot recommend this space and the people involved more highly.

We chose the Argonaut Rowing Club to host our wedding and we were delighted. Robin was SUPER helpful at the original meeting, preparing for the big day, answering all our random questions and requests. The day of went very smoothly, all the staff was great and took care of our guests. The venue itself is also elegantly done, beautiful backdrop with the lake. I highly recommend the Argonaut Rowing to host your event.

My now husband and I had a small ceremony in the Henley Room in December of 2020. Logan went above and beyond in making everything feel special. The location followed provincial and city Covid rules and made everything as safe as possible. If you're looking for a lakeside wedding with options for indoor and outdoor space, incredible staff, unbeatable views, parking, and a location with a really interesting history the Henley Room is perfect. This summer I completed the Learn to Row program and am now participating in their Learn to Train program, and both have been amazing. The club is very conscious of safety and with Covid are having people row in individual sculls and are washing down boats after each use. My mum, who is 71, also is doing the program with me and is thoroughly enjoying it. All the coaches are patient, kind and celebrate your accomplishments. The best thing is being out on the water.
