This place would make an excellent set for a post-apocalypse movie. Once a thriving international airport, Mirabel is now a sad collection of half-demolished buildings. But somehow, they manage to operate a race track (ICAR) on the former taxiways.

This place is nowadays just a dead airport. They still receive cargo shipments for UPS / Fedex / Post Canada but otherwise no commercial flights.

Hotel was run down, would never want to spend a night there. Cool Motorsport track and facility, sweet NavCan Tower, smart to have the cargo facilities here.

Wonderful airport I really must say! It was very easy to navigate around the port, something that isn't common for airports. In addition, there were a lot of stores to check out while we waited for our planes. The workers were all very kind and service minded. They always asked me if I wanted help :-) Overall very nice airport
