The Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel

Really have no complaints the wifi was glitchy at times and their was construction going on out front but it wasn't too loud. Stayed for my bday 3 days gave a free upgrade and discount on 3rd night. Clean, relatively quiet, and ultra modern design with Nepresso machine and mini fridge. The room was spacious with mesmerizing view of the CN tower city view. There's a desk and comfy sofa along with a big tv and arrange of channels for entertainment. You can tell they put a lot of care into the layout 2 showerheads in the bathroom and close up mirror much appreciated will stay again a little ways from the mall but lots to explore with food and shopping options walking distance. Loved it so much when time comes look forward to staying at other locations around the globe to travel in the future.

Loved the location and everyone was super nice. I had an issue with losing my wallet and the front desk was so helpful in accommodating me! We had the executive suite facing the CN tower which was way better in person than in the pictures so we were pleasantly surprised. The only thing I could possibly complain about was that the shower head was terrible and dinky.. and the water pressure was terrible. We had a hard time wanting to shower during our stay.

Great location, great room and great management! After finding a used Kleenex in my room, management quickly moved me to another room. They were understanding and quickly settled the situation. Later I was pleasantly surprised by a chocolate cake and sparkling water. Thank you for that. I very impressed with how quickly they wanted to ensure I was comfortable. Now the reason I give the hotel 4 stars is that parking is not included. We payed 50$ for municipal parking. And this isn’t mentioned in the hotel description. When I filtered to have parking included the hotel popped up. Always call and ask. And they put water in the room that is only complementary for members (not us) Please don’t do that, it’s rude, you should know who is a member when u get the reservations. Regardless of the parking issue. Thank you management for the quick room change , politeness and delicious gift.

Overall a nice hotel. But they lack clarity upfront on hidden fees in their promotional packages. Also there was a lack of transparency in the communication between the room we booked, the room we recieved and the amenities included. Overall, the perceived value upfront was considerably less when the final bill came due. Perhaps it was a lack of questions from myself at the outset but I don't believe you should have to investigate a businesses offer if it's presented properly.
