Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa West - Nepean

I came here on a business trip, and had a car with me. So they have free parking but make sure to let the front desk know you have a car and they will ask you for your license plate number. When I asked the front desk about breakfast, they made me fill out a form indicating what I wanted for breakfast, this is something different, and i didn't ask why i had to fill out a form and they didn't tell. Since I was on a business trip, I went to their business center to get my print outs, one computer was working, other wasn't. The computer was super slow, and had to be very patient. The printer wasn't hooked to the network, and did not print, until I asked the staff about it. The staff was super nice, and brought me an Ethernet cable, though did not help me to hook up the printer, I helped my self, and the printer did work after. The rooms was clean, they do have body soap, shampoo and conditioner. The wifi is not the fastest, but it works, and overall it was good experience. I did not try the gym or the pool.

The room was good with all the basic facilities. Receptionist was very friendly. All over the stay was decent except that their key cards, which we had to change multiple times during our 2 night stay, would stop working after 1 use. Included Breakfast was terrible! We were given cold breakfast sandwiches with no microwave in our room to reheat it, along with a cold banana and yogurt.

Room was very clean with friendly staff. Hotel is in a great location in ''west'' part of Ottawa close to highways. We had a very noisy neighbor in the room beside me. Hotel night staff handled the situation professionally and was able to disperse the room party eventually. Mary Ann the general manager handle my follow up complaint the next day very professionally.

Pretty nice place, clean, quiet, everything you need is in the room. We rented room with kitchenette. They gave us sturdy crib for baby. The only minus was loud HVAC system, we had to turn it off during the night.
