Hyatt Place Edmonton-West

So many great things to say about this hotel! Firstly, they left a little note and treats in the room, upon check in, for the girls in my party, who were turning 12. (They absolutely gushed over the thoughtfulness!) Secondly, the size of the room was great; and the beds were clean and comfortable. Thirdly, the breakfast, even during COVID, was amazing. I expected a granola bar and juice box, but they went above and beyond and offered a hot breakfast, with the best sausages I have ever had. My only request would be to add a slide to the pool and to offer longer swim times during COVID (as 45 min isn't enough!) Overall, though, a wonderful hotel -- we will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Super trendy and modern hotel. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The staff are quite friendly and quick. The morning breakfast can sometimes get a little busy, but there’s a decent selection of things to eat to get your day started. The lobby can feel a little cramped at times, but it’s quite nice most of the time. Good hotel to stay at, overall!

Great room for the money. Was just a standard double queen, but was good value. No hot water in the am was the only blemish.. When I approached the front desk about it they mentioned having to run the hot water for 5 minutes before having the shower 😒

This is a newer hotel and has a lot of modern features you would expect. I booked a few days just to get out of the house as a ''work from Hyatt'' package. Wifi was really good and there was plenty of coffee available. The room was large, clean and well maintained. They also had their kitchen open, so I was able to get both breakfast (free) as well as order lunch. I was very happy with the food options that were available. The staff were really good and helped out with everything I needed. The pool and fitness centre are open; however, you need to book them in advance. I brought the family over for a family swim a couple of times as city pools are all closed. It was nice having the pool and hot-tub all to ourselves.

Awesome location if you want to get to all the favourite stops in Central Edmonton very quickly! Hotel is very clean, spacious, has plenty facilities and good value for money. The staff are helpful, polite and have good local knowledge. Already looking forward to my next visit. I rated 4 stars until I could try the restaurant as soon as COVID subsides and the restaurant is up and running again.
