The River Gate Inn was without a doubt the best thing about my trip to Winnipeg. Don’t get me wrong: I loved the city! But it was the accommodations: the beautiful gardens, antique style furnishings, central location, and welcoming, refined atmosphere of the inn that made my trip unforgettable. Mavis’ gourmet complimentary breakfasts truly deserved a 3-star Michelin rating! As does the inn a 5-star rating here. I can’t recommend it too highly.

Easily the best bed and breakfast in all of Manitoba. Historic, clean, and with lovely owners. If you are coming in Winnipeg, there is no better place to stay.
