Hotel Fairmont Pacific Rim

I always enjoy my time at the Pac Rim, but I want to specifically review some of the hotel's staff that I interacted with during my last stay. Specifically Mia, Ken, Steve, Hugo, and Jackie who were so kind and helpful in the lounge. There are others that I did not note their names. The hotel itself is a wonderful property, but what puts it over the top are the people. From the gentlemen manning the door all the way through, I find the staff genuine and willing to help.

If you are ever going to Vancouver this is a hotel to consider as your choice. This place has impeccable service, best location and spectacular views . We stayed here for a few days and we were so pleased with our choice, we booked the Stanley Park suite and it was amazing. Very elegant ,spacious , and modern design.

Very disappointed with Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver BC! The last few times we stayed here the lobby, lounge and raw bar were full of people, mostly locals and we didn’t have a place to sit. The hostess didn’t seem to care that we are the hotel’s guests and didn’t try to accommodate us. We were told there’s no room and had to leave. Not what we expect from a five star hotel! They should try harder to accommodate the hotel’s guests who are entitled to the hotel’s amenities. Also on the weekend the lounge is very loud and feels more like a night club than a five star hotel! We were also disappointed with the decorations before Christmas which were very limited. The lounge and main lobby were full of plastic plants and flowers. Not attractive at all. It looked more like a Michael’s Store. And the outdoor jacuzzi is very small and anytime we wanted to go it was full of people. Very unpleasant stay overall and it didn’t happen for the first time. An upscale Hotel like Fairmont should put more effort into making sure the hotel’s guests are satisfied and have a good experience while staying here. We are hopeful that things will improve and we will be able to return and have a more positive experience next time.

We visited the restaurant there. The place and service were amazing. Do you know what the best features of this place? Even if you pay a bit more vs the other places - you get very quiet music and non-annoying assistance. Perfect👋👋👋👍 great experience and it wasn't our first time there, thus we were not just got lucky, but the level of service is consistent. Bravo!

Took advantage of the Canadian resident special and stayed for a night for a special occasion. The room was fantastic and we were upgraded to a perfect view of Canada Place. Had the pool and hot tub to ourselves which was a treat. Didn’t spend any time at the bar/restaurants so can’t comment on either but they were busy. Covid protocols were strictly followed and the staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend staying at the Pacific Rim and we will be returning!
