Best Western Plus Ottawa Kanata Hotel & Conference Centre

For the price, this place is hard to beat. I don’t use amenities, so my rating is based on customer service and the room. Friendly staff at every turn in the halls. My room was clean and bright. I’ll stay here again on my next visit.

Gace us half ifc because fire alarm.went off at 2 am and my girl friend had to walk down 3 flights of stairs eith a broken leg and a cast on because elevators became innoperable. Wouldve ratjer paid full price without the disturbance.

Really clean rooms with comfortable beds. You can park in front of your room even on the second floor. Friendly staff and a decent little bagged breakfast included with the stay. Noise was once an issue but that can be with any hotel, I have stayed since than and no issues.

I just want to shout out the employees at this location, especially the front clerk Emily. She was cheerful, could totally see the smile happening behind the mask. She checked us in quickly, and when she heard we planned to use the sofa bed, immediately started grabbing the blankets so that by the time we settled into the room, she was knocking and handing them over. She went above and beyond because I asked if she happened to know where we could get peanut butter (the dog we had with us wasn't eating and we hoped to convince her to eat), and there wasn't any at the hotel she had access to so late at night. But she had the idea to ask McDonald's as she got a delivery for a coffee, so soon came back up with four packets of peanut butter. Absolute star! It's during this Covid-19 season where we have to accept when things aren't like normal and make allowances, but she figured out a way to still do excellent customer service and problem solving. The room was clean and stocked, air conditioning was prime on a warm summers day. The breakfast bags in the morning hilariously came with a fork for our yogurt containers, so had a new experience of eating peach yogurt with a fork! Check out was smooth as well. For a season where hotel stays can be filled with anxiety, this was a very peaceful night stay.
