Very good ice wine and their red was also very good, surprising given the history of red wines in Québec. They have other products available from other local producers so certainly worth the trip.

Excellent winery and tasting. Bought 8 bottles, some of the best white on the island. Will definitely be back

We loved this island offering several wineries to sample. du Mitan had a tasty late harvest white, full of peachy notes and long legs. Their 2006 red was almost bone dry, light with some oak notes. Their 2005 vertical was un-inspiring. But this far north, its not atypical. The staff was friendly but seemed to be reading off well intentioned quotes- ''this red would be good with meats and this white with pasta or fish.'' They would improve astronomically by simply tasting their product. Still my host today was a charmer and very funny. For one of the smaller wineries, du Mitan had great views of the vines and the water. Bottom line. . . I had a good time at anytime I sip wine.

The only winery I've ever been to, or probably will ever go to. Seriously, this place rocks!
