Recent renovations and great clean park. Well lit, lots of stuff to do. Chancellor Community Centre offers community facilities for all occasions. Facilities may be rented for business meetings, parties, conferences and sporting events. Check facility availability using RecOnline or see our Facility Rentals & Parties page for more information. Venues and amenities include activity rooms, multi-purpose room/gymnasium, swimming pool, bocce courts and outdoor skating pad. Swimming Pool temperature is 28.3-29°C (83-84.5°F). 25-metre, 4-lane lap pool with family change room, whirlpool, and accessibility ramp access. Spacious well maintained outdoor rink with supervised city staff at specified recreational skate times. Also has an indoor area to lace up skates.

Great outdoor rink. The ice is smooth for the most part. Just watch out for hockey players. Wish there were specific times for rec skate and hockey, separately.
