Cherry Beach Soccer Club

My son has played with the rep team for two years now and we've been very impressed with the level of coaching and play. He has progressed so much and has been encouraged to develop strategy, tactics and skills as a player and team member and not just ''to win at all costs''. He loves his teammates and they have become fast friends. I highly recommend this club to those who want to develop competitive soccer skills.

I've been at this club for 2 years now and I have improved a lot, two years ago I hardly knew anything about positioning tactics etc. Know I have developed countless skills and have a better mindset thanks to my coaches If you want to get better I highly recommend Cheery Beach SC (coming from a player)

Overall the competitive/rep program is a very positive experience. The coaches place a heavy emphasis on teaching the right way to play and love the game and reinforce it with positive methods so the kids learn and grow from all of their experiences (including mistakes and things they can do better). As a result their confident increases and they grow both as people and as players. When you consider a club and look at reviews, it’s important to separate out the house league comments from the competitive/rep program comments. House league programs always vary in quality because it depends on a lot of parent volunteers and the commitment level is much lower since kids are getting their first exposure to the game. The competitive/rep programs have a much higher level of commitment and expectations and are really built on the quality of the coaches —specifically their ability to teach and bring out the best in their players. That’s what the CBSC program does so well and what makes it such a positive experience.
