On the Off Beat Music School

On the Off Beat is a great music school! My daughter takes guitar and her music teach, Kurt, is an amazing teacher. My daughter was only 5 years old when she started and now she can play complicated chords and songs. Kurt not only taught her how to play the guitar, but also how to read music and love what she is learning. The staff are friendly and the school has a great community feel. I recommend On the Off Beat for any instrument!

I've had a great experience at On the Off Beat Music School. I'd recommend ukulele lessons to anyone and Karla is an awesome teacher. I think the school has also done a good job transitioning to online instruction during the pandemic restrictions. As well I appreciate the flexibility in class schedules. Because I have a busy work schedule I was able to coordinate bi-weekly lessons instead of every week and find a time in the evening that was convenient for me.

A real gem in Leslieville for learning music lessons of all ages! Wonderful teachers and staff that easy going. My son loves learning to play the piano with Zoe. She is fantastic and patient and makes sure throughout that he can play the rhythm! Highly recommended for any age group if you want to pick up an instrument, they have the teachers to make sure you are welcomed.

We love On The Off Beat and the wonderful teachers they have. A true community music school that inspires. The annual Christmas concert is a highlight we look forward to each year. The owners, Michael + Carissa, are down to earth and passionate about children and music. Highly recommend this wonderful place!
