Annex Dance Academy

Annex has been a second home for my two daughters. The staff at Annex are more than just dance teachers. They have cared and nurtured my children and many other children. They pour love into each and every child and they help each child be the best they can be. What I love most about this studio is that it's like a family! Everyone is respectful and loving and caring and the dance quality my kids receive are out of this world. I'm floored at how much these kids can do year after year. I love even more how emotional the teachers get when they witness the kids dancing. This is true love for what they do and how they feel for the children. I thank you Sarah and Cheryl from the bottom of my heart. You have created a safe empowering space for kids and a friendly environment for the parents. My family is grateful to you and what you have brought to the lives of our kids.

Annex Dance Academy is a great place to dance with caring teachers and friendly staff. They have always gone above and beyond, and pay careful attention to all the details. They consider each child individually and help them to achieve their personal goals. We love Annex Dance Academy!!

When I was deciding on a recreational dance school for my young daughters over 4 years ago, it was a tough decision since there were many schools to choose from.  After visiting several dance studios, I decided on the Annex for a few reasons: the studio offers good recreational and competitive programs, it has a family-like environment and dance classes that could be openly observed by parents. My girls have now danced 1 year recreationally and 3 years competitively. They both love the thrill of being on stage and competing confidently against other dancers. The Annex dance instructors have been fundamental in making this happen. The teachers are amazing and encouraging with my girls. They reinforce proper technique yet make it a fun learning environment for their dancers. My girls are constantly being challenged and I can see great progress with their dance knowledge and skills year to year.  My daughters love to dance and enjoy dancing at the Annex. They work hard and have formed firm friendships and learnt to balance their time between school, homework and their activities. Thanks to the owners Sarah and Cheryl for creating such a wonderful space for them to dance and offering my girls many opportunities to become better dancers!

11 best years together with ADA! All my 3 kids had an amazing experience with this studio. They count this place as their second family. All teachers are so wonderful and professional. It's a very clean and safe place for all ages of children.

I have 2 daughters that dance here and I consider this studio a second family for my kids. I have referred a number of families to the studio over the years and their kids have also really enjoyed either part time or competitive dance experiences. We have developed deep relationships with both the studio directors, and many of their dance instructors. They have always gone out of their way to be special mentors, and great coaches with my children. Annex understands my kids individual strengths and challenges and helps build their esteem and their technique accordingly. Through Annex, my daughters have danced at Raptors games, at competitions in Canada and the US, have been accepted into Performing Arts High School Dance programs and this summer, had special chances to appear on tv programs. On top of the amazing and award winning faculty, they occassionally bring in guest choreographers that are well known professionals in the industry for workshops. My kids have developed life long friendships. They have learned discipline, responsibility and a love for the art. Prior to Annex our kids were at two other studios. One very large studio that had great facilities, but my kids were just a number and another smaller studio that did not have as strong a faculty for the kids and competitive programs, which were important to my kids. I highly recommend this studio
