The Annex Hotel

This is now my third time staying here in 2020. And I live in Toronto. This has become a safe escape for my wife and I. We work from home and have a teen at home 24|7 now too. Having a spectacular space in a part of the city I love so much feels like a luxury for me, especially when every person on the annex hotel’s team shows up in a way that demonstrates they genuinely care about the comfort and safety of all guests. Key features of one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at (this includes the world renowned 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in): best mattress EVER; a team that cares (especially Linda & Ryan); even their drip coffee is tasty; CLEAN; brilliant use of space; beautiful part of Toronto close to literally everything. There is something special here with the model & care that the annex has executed and I hope it continues to evolve with the needs of its guests; as it already has in such a short amount of time. This is more than a 5 star review; it’s a love letter to a place that really has become a home away from home.

I could not recommend a place more than the annex. Exceptional service. Well-appointed rooms. The best location in the city. And the beds are extremely comfortable! The annex is the perfect home away from home for anyone visiting our fair city, locals looking for a relaxing staycation, or those seeking refuge from the trials and tribulations of life. BIG LOVE to the entire annex team!!

I have stayed at the Annex several times and my stay everytime has been amazing. Everything is self serve but if you have any issues there is always someone to help you which is amazing. The rooms are clean, modern and very minimalist. Not your average hotel room. The bed is my favourite. It is so extremely comfortable and the duvet. I looked up the brand for purchasing myself. Overall the experiences I have had over the last year staying here has been amazing and will definitely return! Thank you Annex for your wonderful hospitality and giving me a good night rest.

Amazing experience!! The room was so charmingly decorated with its minimalist vibe and all of the art and pieces made for a very cozy and uplifting environment. Mac (the staff) was so helpful throughout my stay and was always available to answer questions. It was great hospitality throughout, I even extended my stay by one night. Definitely would go again and recommend to anyone looking for a trendy, comfy and clean spot in a great neighborhood.

We had an amazing stay at the Annex Hotel to celebrate our engagement! The room had a beautiful simple design and was very cozy and clean. The hotel is conveniently close to many restaurants, bars and shops. Check-in was via text/e-mail and staff was very responsive and friendly. They even provided us with complimentary champagne to celebrate our engagement which was so thoughtful. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!!
