As an animation industry professional (and Instructor), I’ve seen firsthand how Toronto Art supports and lifts its students' portfolios to an extremely high level of quality. It’s very encouraging for the future of the industry. The smaller class sizes allow for a great deal of critical one-on-one instruction time with students. This is very important to enable students to focus on and greatly improve artistic problem areas. The training provided and quality of work FAR exceeds my own knowledge and artistic level at that stage of my education. I only wish I had the opportunity to improve my work with the high quality of training at Toronto Art prior to my entering post-secondary. Very impressive & keep up the fantastic work!

Toronto art is a great school, the teachers there have taught me so much in such a short period of time. I took their portfolio preparation classes and because of them I got into the collage of my choice. Jun and Janet have pushed me to become a better artist and helped me understand the quality of work I must provide in order to become an animator. Great staff and amazing overall experience

If you want to build a stong potfolio for your art-related program, you're looking at the right place! I studied at this school for only a few month and right now I'm in Sheridan's Animation. The teachers are super nice and patient. Most importantly, they are absolutly professional and responsible! I enjoyed my time there and so will you! To Jun and Janet: Everything is going well for me and I'm excited for my first semester. Thank you again! Please give my regards to Sam and Clare. Take good care of yourself.

It was a wonderful experience. They have a large number of professional and talented teachers.  The teachers with great techniques did their best to guide me.  If you want to have a great experience at this school, be sure to ask the teachers a lot of questions. The more questions you ask, the more the teachers will tell you. Even if you study at one of the best art schools in the world, personal growth is always your job. No one can grow if they rely solely on school instead of personal practice time. If you always reflect on yourself and work hard, this school will be the best place to learn for you and will definitely support you.

I started portfolio classes in the summer of 2020. At this point, I had not picked up a pencil in years. Janet was extremely supportive throughout the whole process- she had even taken care to print out a list of schools and deadlines. Jun provided much valuable guidance on different mediums. Other instructors (particularly Friedrich) was amazing and constantly provided feedback and help. Especially in the Covid environment and the constant closures, this studio continued to provide help in the best way they can. They really care about their students and the overall environment of the studio is extremely supportive. I would definitely recommend Toronto Art!
