As a current student who attends this school, I cant speak for the years in the past or for others, but from MY personal experience this school has been great. Staff and students have been nothing but welcoming and kind to me and iv'e grown so much in my major and as a person. The people who attend with me are very diverse in motivation, race, identities, styles, and goals and i personally find it very inspiring. Yes you do have to pay to audition, but if you get in its well worth it. The school's also very understanding about being late for morning classes as many students travel 3 or more hours to get to school everyday, so thats not a worry. And yes i do agree the school gives out a fair amount of homework but the teachers are very understanding with needing extensions. For those debating auditioning I say go for it, and hope to see you there!

some places just have good energy. this is one of them. friendly staff and teachers, diverse kids with interests in the arts, and a nice space to learn.
