I would highly recommend Dive World to anyone looking to venture into the world of Scuba. As an older learner diver, I was assisted by staff who were extremely knowledgeable, engaging and patient. I am now extremely excited about my future experiences under water, feeling confident that I have been taught all the necessary skills that I will need to continue, by amazing professionals!

Writing an honest review BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE. Mario is a good and experience instructor. He is a nice person and does spearfishing and free diving too. Pete cares for his students. Jake is awesome too I can't say much about the rest though because I don't want to leave bad comments.

Honestly, this shop is the real deal. There’s such a strong sense of community and everyone is so welcoming that you’re literally itching to sign up for your next trip with them the second you come home. When I joined their June Tobermory trip I was nervous about diving in cold water for the first time, but all the instructors and divers were so stoked to get in the water that the positive energy really rubs off on you and I barely noticed the temperature. The staff were both professional and fun as hell at the same time—I commend you guys for being able to strike that balance. Shout out to Diego and James who put up with my roasts and my poor understanding of freshwater aquatic species. Will definitely be back for more dives and good vibes!

Just passed my open water certification. Everyone's a thorough professional and friendly at the same time. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn or go to diving. The trainers are highly skilled and wonderful teachers. I am definitely going back for more courses. Thanks Mario and his team. Hope to see the diveshop grow very big!
