Point Blank Martial Arts and Fitness

Just joined point blank a couple weeks ago and by far have had the best martial art experiences. I have joined a couple of other gyms prior to this one and none of them come close in comparison. Being a woman in a male dominated sport can come with apprehensions but Steve and the environment he creates in this space will set aside any worries. You will learn valuable skills, gain confidence, strength in yourself and genuinely love the sport. I was worried at the beginning due to covid but they are doing plenty to keep the space clean and safe for everyone. Everything is exceptionally clean and the air quality is great, I always feel safe coming to point blank. Would recommend this place to everyone! :)

My son has been training with Steve for nearly 2 years. He has come a long way since the first session. But progress alone would be meaningless if he did not enjoy the time spent learning. Going to Point Blank Martial Arts and training with Steve Hyatt is often the highlight of his week. Steve is not only an amazing instructor, he is truly one of the nicest, humblest and friendliest people I’ve ever known. He is a person I would like my son to look up to and learn from. He teaches fairness and sportsmanship in every single session. The new facility is in one word, excellent! Truly efficient and very well designed from the ground up. You will not find a better place to train your kids in martial arts.

I have been training here since opening and I really enjoy it a lot. The atmosphere is very welcoming motivating, and encouraging which makes personal development so much greater. Steve is a very good mentor and instructor and is very experienced. Not only does he answer questions, he does so in precise detail explaining the specifics in a way that it is easy to comprehend for the students. I enjoy coming here very much and have brought friends to the gym.

I highly recommend Point Blank! Owner and instructor, Steve Hyatt, has created a welcoming environment and a challenging series of programs that cater to members from the novice to more experienced levels. Attending his classes is the highlight of my kids' week. I have seen an increased drive and commitment in them and huge improvement in their self discipline and self control. Point Blank has been truly life-changing for them!

My 10 year old son has been taking MMA classes at Point Blank for about 6-7 months. Now my teenage daughter started taking classes there as well. I am impressed with their results, expecially knowing how uninterested my children were in any physical activity. Steve (an owner and instructor of the place) is a talented teacher, and when it comes to my children, this fact means even more than his combative skills, which are great, by the way. He is able to hold the focus of children, he can be respectful, attentive to their questions, and - be quite intimidating when needed. Every class is fun, laughter and sweat at the same time. I also like that often there are assistants in the class, great people and athletes as well, so kids get almost individual attention. Thank you, guys!
