Great place close to the city to get away and reconnect with Nature. I was pleasantly surprised with the hiking trails. The trails were varied between sun and shade and actually some fairly steep inclines in some areas. Excellent day trip, just get there early on nice weekend days as the parking area fills up.

This is where the Rouge River empties into Lake Ontario. And this is where the swans, the geese, and the ducks like to congregate in the pond. Nice and peaceful; until the train passes by. But the fowl don't seem to mind. Lots of birds hang out around here too. The last vestige of nature residing on the precipice of civilization. May it always remain a national park.

Love this place ❤️!! I have hiked here in the summer, fall, and winter and loved it everytime. The trails are very long and can be hiked for any duration. It is also very popular location so it feels nice to see people out and active. This trail was also great in the winter and very busy as well. Would highly recommend!! Great to have something so nice and beautiful and so local to the area. If you live in the east and haven't gone, you should go, great ski year round.

This National park is right at the edge of Markham and Scarborough in the Toronto Zoo area. It's clean and we'll maintained. It's quite a nice area for a relaxing hike or bike ride. It's also a super large area so you can definitely come for revisits without boredom. They also feature little activities like scavenger hunts on their notification board. Definitely give it a visit!

Amazing walk with the family. Lucky to see some whitetail deer. Spent nearly 4 hours exploring the different trails. We got to see a huge goods train go by. Overall a very good place for the family.
