Amazing service and the best advice...We went to Fred's to look for some Sturgeon gear. I did not want average gear, but some rods and reels that would last a long time and and give us the best action when fishing. We met Tom there and I could tell he knew what he was talking about and that I could trust him on advice and pricing. We ended up with amazing equipment and great prices. He also gave us a tip on where to fish!

Uncontested best place to get tackle and gear. Super knowledgeable staff will get you set up and are awesome. They all have great knowledge of the gear that's sold there and they are all avid anglers so they know their stuff. Just bought a great fly rod and reel setup there for a good price. No where I'd rather go for sport fishing needs. Keep it up Fred!

I just wanted to stop by and give you guys some kudos. First off, I’ve never been to the store. I’ve used the online store to purchase some items. The website is easy to navigate. And I’ve been able to find quality gear at fair prices with fast shipping. But what really has me feeling like I need to leave this review is the quality of customer service I’ve received. There have been occasions where I’ve had to exchange items, at no fault of Fred’s. And I just want to say it’s been a completely painless process. A quick phone call, followed by a photo sent to them and a couple days later I had my replacement items. These guys operate at a level of trust that you don’t find everyday. I truly appreciate the service you’ve provided, and hope to visit the shop in the future. Thanks guys!

Fred and his team have an amazing store for anything tackle. They specialize and started helping folks fish fresh water rivers and lakes, and now have pretty much anything fishing. I think the best part of the stop is the sales people and specialists that are at the store. A lot of guides are friends of the company and are often found in the store and help with questions and suggestions. If you are serious about fishing you have to visit Fred's Tackle.
