I recently ordered a Shimpo adjustable stool, glazing tongs, and assorted glazes from The Sounding Stone. I had ordered glazes from them many years ago and been happy with the outcome, so it was good to see them still in business. I have been extremely happy with the selection, pricing and delivery of products from Sounding Stone. They have a comprehensive selection of tools, equipment and glazes for potters, and their website is clear and easy to use. Delivery is timely and they keep you informed of how shipping is progressing with email updates and tracking information which is wonderful in our current economic climate with Covid-19. I would recommend this Canadian Business to any ceramic artist looking for quality supplies and tools.

I find the level of service of this company outstanding. Seldom do I write a review but the level of professionalism, attention to detail and good customer relations has prompted this review. Keep doing what you are doing! Online ordering process second to none. I forgot to order a small item with my original order and Vern made the addition easy to do. Thanks Vern!

I recently placed my first online order with The Sounding Stone and have been so impressed by the experience. They sent a quick email followup, shipping updates (and fair price shipping), speedy turnaround and delivery. I also really appreciated that they shipped via Canada Post as that is always the most trouble-free experience (most times with other carriers I’m always having to chase them down after failed delivery attempts.) With Canada Post and the secure drop box system they have in place for multi-family dwellings it’s the perfect solution. Highly recommend The Sounding Stone!

This is an excellent store for people working in clay. There is an impressive assortment of glazes for all firing levels which I can’t find all in one place in my province. Tools are another category that displays an exceptional variety. This is one of my favorite ceramics stores!

I always get great service when I visit The Sounding Stone in person. I was pleased with the online ordering as well. Fast delivery at a reasonable price. Actually too fast and reasonable since my purchases won’t be limited to trips to the city anymore! -Terry
