I visit Toronto Island almost every weekend in the summer and the beach by Gibraltar point is by far THE BEST in the GTA. Very few pebbles, ultra soft and tropical-like sand once you're a few feet away from the beach, complimented by crystal clear waters and lush surroundings. I'm so glad not a lot of people know about this spot (as they usually go to Center Island or Hanlan's Beach). Do try to visit before noon to avoid the few crowds that known of this hidden treasure, or come past sunset and start a bonfire.
