Mary was a incredibly welcoming host. She had recommendations for restaurants, historic sites to visit and good parking for getting near the old Quebec city. Amazing croissants for breakfast and be sure to ask about the nut bread. This spot was convenient to bike paths and pleasantly situated in a residential area.

We stayed here for one night and it was our absolute delight to meet Mary, stay at her place and feel like we were at our home away from home. From helping us with our no-fuss reservation, helping us find best rates for our rental and cooking us an awesome breakfast, this place is a MUST stay at in Quebec City. Other than that, there are not enough words to describe Mary's kindness, her helpful nature and her warm hospitality. As someone who has travelled the world and stayed in many hotels, La California B&B is one of the few delights of my travel adventures.

Mary is a delight! Such a warm personality and full of information about Quebec City and ideas of places to visit. Breakfasts were yummy with a variety of fresh breads and pasty every morning.
