This little quaint town is a jewel and to be visited in any of the 4 seasons. Last summer, I biked into this town and then went to take a quick dip in the Massawippi lake to cool off on such a hot day. Also, put the Sea-Doo out of the marina for a late-day tour of the northern end of the lake eyeing the beautiful lakeside properties. This winter, went skating on their great outdoor oval under a beautiful midday sun. Also, went hiking in a beautiful park just minutes from the city center on a day that marshmellow snow fell on us at a peaceful rate making good use of the crampons affixed to my boots. Looking forward to this coming summer to enjoy a nice meal and bevrages at the pub that borders the river leaving the lake. So many things to do yet so peaceful and quiet at the same time. You need to visit for sure...

Quaint little town in the Eastern Townships. Though currently undergoing some major renovations to the center of town, it is a pleasant destination for a relaxing afternoon! The lake is pristine and great for a swim.

North Hatley is a gorgeous eastern townships little village, with a nice beach by the waterfront on lake Massawippi. The beach entrance fee is in 2020, 7 CAD for non-resident adults and 3 CAD for children. There are lifeguards present, diving plarforms and the water is fairly clear. Be aware that this lake allows motorized boats at a safe range.
