La Station du Chêne Rouge - Écogîte

I had a wonderful weekend with my beautiful family in the fall! We loved our experience. The homes, the places, the service, in short, everything was perfect! The owners are also very friendly, which is always a plus! I highly recommend it, it really allows you to get away from it all, a real breath of fresh air!

Best Ready-to-Camp experience ever! The Hare's Tent was amazing. Your unit has a picnic table and two Adirondack chairs around a fire pit. Perfectly cozy for two. So calm and peaceful and not in anyway close to other campers. You really feel you are alone in the Station's beautiful treed site. Good to know the Station's trails are not flat by any means. Highly recommend transport for a small fee. They take your stuff in and take your stuff out. No stress. Take your time to explore the Station many trails with varying difficulty and under an hour each. Your host Hilda and her team will take care of you every step of the way from reservation, to arrival and until your departure. This is a new site, only a year old. Make the most of the beauty and excellent facilities before everyone else does.

I highly recommend this place! I was part of a group of friends and their children and we had a wonderful time - we shall definitely go back! It was easy to get to and catered for the glampers and the not so glam-pers of us! Hilda, who is a warm and inviting host, stayed late to welcome our late arrivals. She gave us clear guidance with marked maps which were simple enough to follow, even for the spatially challenged! She also generously gave me some of her beautiful basil to take home to make pesto!
