Well for starters this is the second oldest Golf Course in Canada. Basically the same since 1869. A few holes have been altered since 1869 such as a school built on site and the elimination of what i consider the course best hole. Over a road over a pond and drop on the green par 3. This is a small town run course. It has a family feel to it. I would suggest playing this course not only for its history , but also for its difficulty. It is not a big course but it is a narrow course. Make sure to bring extra balls. If you are looking to just get out and let loose well this is the course for you. Next to no monitoring, well kept course and an attitude of almost anything goes. If you like peace, not being pushed from behind or just a starter this is the place for you. It has a brand new log cabin club house with balcony over looking hole #1 to enjoy your drinks.
