Alumnae Theatre Company

Wonderful theatre with great acoustics, terrific sightlines, friendly staff, and a fantastic range of interesting productions. I always enjoy myself at the Alumnae Theatre!

Tony, Tony, Tony was an excellent performance. Attended the final performance The songs were very well presented. The ensemble was excellent. Laurie Hurst view ne away. Such a powerful voice. I had rears in my eyes and the hairs on my arms tingled when she sang ''Climb Every Mountain''. I can't wait to hear/see her perform again.

Just saw a wonderful production (A Trip to Bountiful) at Alumnae. It's a longtime volunteer-run organisation in a beautiful building on Berkeley St. All sightlines are good, good acoustics, friendly people, and refreshments and snacks available (plus it's licensed).

A total gem in Toronto's theatre community as well as for Toronto's arts & culture scene in general. The venue spaces inside are older and have less bells and whistles of other theatre venues, but they also have a charm and history that are worth the trade-off. Their regular programming is bold, creative and entertaining with topic matters that are relevant to inclusion in today's landscape. In addition the space is used by outside groups who also craft amazing experiences. As someone who has performed at this theatre, I can say that the facilities backstage are also well-crafted (yet simple) and there's everything a small production might need. Overall, a fantastic venue and theatre company that should be cherished.
