A wonderful place to visit even spend the day spend the night nice and clean unfinished it's the old way as long as they don't commercialize it like Cherry Beach and q Beach and Woodbine Beach as long as they don't make it like that it'll always be a great place get rid of the expensive chipwagon put in affordable foods they have good washrooms unfortunately they're not as clean as you want them to be but it's the beach we expect people are dirty everywhere in the world if they had cleaning stuff and there all the time cleaning it'd be wonderful but sometimes I can't keep up but it is an awesome place to visit from people around the world to meet spend the day hiking biking riding around on a mobile device it is awesome get out there and enjoy your day lots of nature

One of the urban beach located in the downtown Toronto. It's neighborhood is Tom Thompson Park. There is also a bike trail can connect u to Tom Thompson trail. The trail is short, about 2km. round trip is over an hour. There are lot of water sport there, dog is allowed. Last week I was there, I saw many windsurfers, kateboarder. The Beach is the perfect place to catch the breeze and rip across the Toronto Waterfront. The channel between Cherry Beach and Tommy Thompson Park provides few waves but awesome wind. There is a windsurfing club nearby, perfect for ppl who wants to learn windsurfing. Along the beach, you can walk around, a loop trail .Dog leash off area is available. I saw many dogs there. A great place to spend a couple hours in the afternoon. Easy hike.

Have had awesome day and nights camping and trail.. blazing the park. Lots of new friends. The environment that changes every 200 meters really has a diverse foliage from trees shrubs and weeds. The ferns growing under the task trees are exceptionally pretty with the way the sun will trickle through the branches as the wind blows revealing a magical scene of colors and smells. There is some garbage that is piled or stem about from careless campers and/or the homeless which tend to congregate in the park. Catnip is freely available in certain areas as well as Rose Hips and many other types of plants. Go and explore buddy front be shocked by the promiscuity that does occur here. Bike trails are all throughout. Careful of the thorny honey locust tres and also the Stinging Nettles. Enjoy.
