Jordan Valley Campground

Beautiful spot with plenty of room at each site. Off leash dog park was a great bonus for me with 2 dogs!

The campground is well maintained, very clean amenities, and kind hosts. However, in fairness, be aware that the sounds of gunshots (which we learned are actually bird bangers of nearby vineyards) are relentless, starting as early as 6:45 am on a Sunday, and go on constantly every few seconds until dark. As well, coyotes frequent the campground and surrounding woods at night. The night we were there, unfortunately, we were jolted awake by the sounds of coyotes howling and a subsequent animal screeching and massacre. Otherwise, the campground is fine.

Great Stay! Easy booking and check in, led right to the site. Everything IMMACULATE roads, grass, trimming, pool. All extremely clean and well kept. Everything marked well, and clearly signed. They put a LOT of work into this place. Sites seemed a bit narrow but certainly functional. Went kayaking, bike riding, and walked around Jordan village. Very quiet park for an early week stay.

Although we were disappointed in not knowing in advance (via e mail, website, etc.) certain things about current local Covid restrictions (i.e. no guests allowed anywhere) we have many positive things to say about the owner/operators. They are very courteous and honorable and showed some flexibility to let us check out early without losing money. It is when problems occur that we end up seeing the true colours of service providers. They were very fair and also helped us when we had a problem with a wire that needed cutting. Thank you again.

Beatiful campground! The owners are very friendly and accomodating. It is in a very nice area with a lot of interesting things to do. Going back in June.
