A beautiful gem of a shop for clay enthusiasts! I have purchased clay, glaze and tools from Jo-Anne and Gerald (the owners) over the years. Each time I visited the shop I left with a wealth of knowledge to get the most out of my pottery supplies and more! I really appreciate them taking the time out of their busy days to show me what they were working on, demonstrate how to program kilns, chat about different techniques and once, Jo-Anne drove me home rather than have me schlep 50lbs of clay in the rain on the bus - that was above and beyond and shows how special the Amaranth family is. It is really supportive and creative space! I would highly recommend Amaranth Stoneware to anyone interested in pottery. Its a happy little place.

I discovered Amaranth Stoneware a few months ago when I started using Amaco Potters Choice glazes. I could not be happier with their service. Products have always been in stock, shipping has been quick and easy to track and customer service has been great! My only wish is that they were closer to Toronto so I could visit the store in person once Covid restrictions are lifted.

I ordered 75 lbs of clay on the middle of winter and it arrived at my door without freezing!!! Amazing! Super fast service too. The cost of the clay plus shipping was cheaper than buying the clay in store at my local supplier. Very impressed with this company and I will continue to get my pottery supplies here!!

My daughter and I had a great time taking a pottery class from Nick. He explained the steps such that we created a few really nice pieces of pottery. I would recommend Amaranth as a fun girls' weekend destination!!! We are looking forward to our next visit!
