A wonderful English theatre in Montreal with an intimate seating arrangement where every seat in the house is the ''best seat'' !

I visited very recently to see the play Once with my mother on a Thursday night. It's a beautiful community theatre. When you enter there is a little bar on the left, the ticket counter is at the back, and the bathrooms are to you right. Before our showing it was pretty crowded so we didn't get to see the actors perform some lively music in the lobby before entering the stage, but we did hear them which is still good. Our seats were on the left balcony which isn't bad but it's not the best. I think the floor seats looked much better (the view and the comfort). Seats are tightly packed and expect to get up a few times if people need to go to the bathroom and/or get in/out of their seats. The show was wonderful! Very well done and I have no complaints except that the main actor kept losing his Irish accent! I'd come back to see another show.

Very well situated being a five-minute walk from Cote-Ste-Catherine Metro. Whether in the balcony or seated on the first floor of the center, the sound resonates well and you really feel part of the action on stage. Shows are very well staged and the actors are well rehearsed.
