I've come to this apple orchard every year for 10 years with my family, and its always been lively anx very crowded. Its probably one of the most popular destinations for apple picking in the St-Joseph-du-Lac area. The problem this year was that it was overcrowded and the lack of any COVID-19 measures were concerning. We only maxe it through the parking lot (which was again insanely full) anded us to think that there were no limitation put on the number of visitors. Although activities were all outdoors, there was no social distancing visible, many people without masks... and we felt very uncomfortable. After 10 years of tradition, my family finally decided to paly it safe and try out a new, smaller orchard. Needless to say, I've always loved Vergers LaFrance for its family-friendly atmosphere, but this year was a disappointment.

This place gets particularly crowded in the months of September and October when the apple picking season is at its peak. The organization of the structure is great: orderly entrance, great apples varieties to choose from, some playgrounds for kids to play with and a well stocked store to buy multiple 'apple-made' items. Prices are fair. Last time we went here a live band was also playing at the front entrance to entertain visitors. It's a great place to take your children for a fun outdoor activity or simply to enjoy some good fall vibes in Saint Joseph du Lac, Quebec. Highly recommended

We go there often ,very nice Orchard and boutique , they sell home made quality products ,pies are very good also pastries
