Wonderful Sugar Shack to bring kids and enjoy our traditional québécois cabane à sucre meals smothered in our national treasure, the wonderful maple syrup

It's our first year visit to this sugar shack as we ordered a Ma Cabane À La Maison box, which is basically a box to go with a full sugar shack meal! The food was delicious and their menu options made were perfectly portioned. Meat pies turned into ''empanadas'', your traditional omelette turned into individual mini quiches... and I was impressed at how well everything was packaged in the box! Safety measures were well respected, we were allowed to walk around the grounds, see the little animal farm, visit their boutique, and eat some yummy maple taffy on the premises. Visitors were also allowed to simply pop-in and ask for a hot meal to eat on the terrace, like poutine or a pea soup. On the other side of the road is the entrance to go hiking at Mont Saint-Grégoire so if you plan ahead, you can order your Meal Box days in advance and on the day of, hike at the Mont before picking up your box, grabbing some taffy and heading home for a comfy feast. Online orders also come with a code to watch a special Quebec-style show, a fun sugar shack tradition!

Food was fantastic. Pick up was quick and a very friendly staff. Really enjoyed eating this great meal in the peace and quiet of my home. I hope when the dinning rooms reopen that they will still be able to offer this takeout service.

Awesome place to get your maple sugar fix. It's also conveniently located at the foot of mont gregoire next to a hiking trail
