Excellent knowledgeable service, watch opening hours are not typical. Prices are a bit higher, but the selection in smart, fun, strategic games is mind-boggling even for someone who likes a good challenge... 🤓

I ordered a triple weight full size tournament pieces and a vinyl board over the weekend. I was a little worried how the chess board would survive shipping as vinyl creases easily if folded. Shipping was super fast and the board was packed with care to ensure no folds/creases. The quality of the board and set exceeded my expectations and the price was way better than amazon or some leading chess suppliers. It's a joy playing with this set! I've included a couple photos comparing my travel set to the tournament set. Would shop here again! Thanks so much!

The go to place in Montreal, particular for chess books. Owner is super helpful and knowledgeable, gave us great advice on what to buy. Will definitely be back!

Super friendly staff, great selection and lovely atmosphere! My friend and I went in with a few questions and the employee was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and we even discussed a bit of chess strategy for awhile. Ended up purchasing “Spirit Island” per the recommendation of the employee. Their COVID-19 measures were confusing, however. We were made to go up an elevator to ask someone to open the store for us, then we descended the elevator just to use the phone to call for the employee. The instructions could have been clearer.
