This should be your first choice to witness the beauty of the countryside and the Richelieu river! This is a beautiful house with a lovely view of the river across from the Patriotes memorial. The backyard includes a pool, fireplace, and dock with fishing rods. Our hosts were kind, attentive, and even helped arrange travel to the airport for a very reasonable price. Dinner is available for $35 if there are at least 6 dining, and it is excellently prepared. Breakfast is equally delicious and sometimes includes fresh croissants. If the Autoroute 20 is busy there is also ferry service to the other side of the river. It is right near the house. If you are lucky, you will meet the hosts two wonderful daschunds, one named Julien. Notnto worry if you don't like dogs - they stay out of the guest area so as to not disturb anyone, and are silent.
