City Brew Tour

The trip was wonderful on a hot sunny day in Montreal. Cedric our guide had lots of knowledge to share. I learned how to combine my beer with my food plus I discovered the blond beer as my “ new love “ 🍺 cheers to the team

My boyfriend and i quite enjoyed our time on this guided brewery tour. We were a small group, less than 10 people, and City Brew Tours took us to three different breweries to sample a total of 10 beers. The beer we tried was great and they were very generous on the sample size. The breweries were all outside the old port area, so for tourists like us it was nice to visit a few places we normally wouldn't go to. Also, our guide was very knowledgeable if you had any questions along the way. In terms of cons, we only wish we had had a little more time at each brewery, as it felt rushed. Also, its just the one guide driving and giving facts between breweries, and we would have enjoyed if it was two guides. it seemed difficult for the guide to focus on driving and give a speech about beer simultaneously. Overall, great tour, even if you don't know much about beer. We had a really great time and toured with an amazing group of people.

Interesting selection of tastings at each of 3 micro-breweries. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. A very pleasant afternoon, will do it again or another one next year.

Our brew tour was awesome! Mat was a great guide; he really knew his stuff. He made the tour really fun while also managing to educate us on the brewing process. We highly recommend taking this tour if you have more than a couple days visit in Montreal. Not only did we learn a lot while drinking a lot, but we also met some great people we later hung out with on our vacation.

This was the best experience i have ever had. For starters our tour guide, Mat was amazing! We had an issue getting to the location on time and we’re about 15-20mins late and Matt stayed in contact with me through text while we navigated our way to the pick up location. Once we arrived, Mat was super welcoming and understanding of us being late. He provided us with so much knowledge about beer, local breweries, his personal experience with brewing beer, and history about the city. We met some great people on this tour and made friends that we are still in contact with. I want to go back to Montreal just so i can do this tour again with the hopes of having May as our guide again. I would recommend this tour to anyone that likes beer or doesn’t like beer. I’m not a huge beer drinker but the experience helped me develop more of an appreciation. I love trying new things and this tour allows you to try such a variety of things i would have never tried on my own.
