Great museum! One of my favourites in Old Montreal. You can climb all the way up to get a great view AND can also see guided tours of an archeological dig below the building. It is also very fairly priced!

People that worked here were SO friendly and accommodating. My Mom and I got there very late in the day on Dec 27th and were rushing to take everything in. They stayed open late just for us. So much history and great exhibits to take in. We could have spent 2-3 hours. Merci beauc...

Very nice museum, friendly staff and very worth the admission price. I was not aware there was so much to see, from the history of Montreal to the train exhibit. Highly recommended.

Very interactive, especially the pirate exhibit which was exceptionally well presented. The train exhibit was pretty interesting too.

Awesome museum, very well curated. The fact that you are walking amidst where the actual history was preserved is so interesting, and you can feel the history beneath you.

First of all it's free and second of all Dorval has great history. Check it out. Good for pre teens.

A great tiny museum to stop to visit. Kids love seeing the permanent exhibition upstairs. They showcase the newer exhibition in the back on the first floor. The kids also really like the horse stalls. The staff is super friendly too.
