Superb little piece of nature in an industrial area. If you live in the area where you are passing through and need a soothing little walk this little wood is for you! Well maintained with a nice wooden path and another part in gravel you will meet a miraide of insects and living...

Not much to see besides an impressive boardwalk. Might be better to visit during summer time. Didn't see much besides chickadees.

Amazing path in the swamp woods, it's ~3km one way and at the end of the trails there is a dog park. Car can be parked right next to the main entrance. There is, not so obvious, paved road just in between park entrance and first houses on the same street side. Close to the dog pa...

We go there sometimes to have supper by the river and then take a walk in the reserve. It is a very well maintained quite and peaceful place where one can observe birds, deer and other wild animals. We always feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a visit there.

The cost to stay is fairly high, like around $8 for 2 hours or $10 for the day but late hours are not allowed so in summer, they’ll close even before sun down. Hours on the ticket shows 11pm but they actually ask you to leave at 9. Other than that it’s a nice place to have ac...

Beautiful park and bird sanctuary. Almost 8km of walking trails but only about 3-4km of it is where the birds are. Some parts are bordering the water.

Beautiful island, very nice to take a stroll around it. Pictures in a sunny day are stunning. If you go to the park the trail is long and beautiful full of birds. Very nice family outing for a weekend. I'll come back mid autumn to see the changing colors 😎

Sorry to see parents agreeing to let their children climb trees again. But always pleasant to walk the tracks, which are in good condition even after a rain.
