When you go for kayak or canoe you have two choices. First is to go to the famous ''waber falls'' which will be 1.5 hour of boating and about two hours of hiking.(about total of 5 hours to get back to starting point rental office). But you can also take the second choice which is...

We came here on October 31; they’ve closed for the season, so the entrance is free, and only the southern part of the park is open. It’s a huge and beautiful park along lakes. We parked at the St jean des piles section, and hiked the Lac Solitaire (#13) trail. We didn’t exp...

Nice place to walk in wet lands. There is a cat walk that takes you deep in the forest. In summer you can also walk to the river and enjoy a small beach. This is about 20 minutes walk from the parking

Excellent place to enjoy the nature, air fresh and the creativity of someone who create this lovely place to dream and play. There are restrooms, parking lot, info-signs to follow the walking-way and info about the species who grow and live in that little forest.

It was closed on the day I visited. It's a good drive to this place. During the spring time a good place to photograph migratory birds. A must visit. It's located in Nicolet a nice small town.

Absolutely beautiful. Well worth the visit. It is child and wheelchair friendly. The end of the boardwalk is a short walk but if you take your time, you can certainly spend over an hour and enjoy the birds and wildlife. Their are picnic tables along the walk if you want to take a...

The entire trail is amazing. 1.5 hours of pedaling in a boat in the middle of beautiful nature. Then 1.5 hours of forest trail. Make sure you reserve the boat on their site. Also ask for stabilizes. They help a lot. Need to be in a decent physical shape to enjoy the end to end tr...

Thanks to beautiful wooden bridges, we walk over this biosphere reserve, to reach the shores of the St. Lawrence and Lake St. John. This small walk of 30mn gone / return is not to be missed if you are in the area. Still a haven of peace.
