Whenever I pass through Toronto I make an effort to see what they're showing...always creative with their own unique flare, even when they share classic theatre. SO easy to get to on the TTC streetcar 504A (Distillery District loop). Just steps from the theatre door.

We sat in row M, 2nd from the back and the seats we're great. The theatre is designed so there isn't a bad seat. The Play, Jesus Hopped the A Train was stellar!

Saw a chrismas Carol here. It was fun. The space is great because the stage is a center and 360 degree seating around the stage. Well for this hall. The other hall I didn't see. They have a good concession stand with some authentic treats, it's a good time.

Just saw a wonderful production (A Trip to Bountiful) at Alumnae. It's a longtime volunteer-run organisation in a beautiful building on Berkeley St. All sightlines are good, good acoustics, friendly people, and refreshments and snacks available (plus it's licensed).
