Starting climbing here in January of 2021 as a beginner. The staff were excellent at helping new comers and brought me to a climb up to V6 in just 3 months. Would recommend to all climbers especially those who are looking for complex routes.

Just finished AST 1 course and could not recommend enough. The online platform and the two field days were incredibly informative. If there is anyway to swing it, ask for Brent, he has a ridiculous amount of knowledge and expertise. He had tons of stories from working in the fiel...

I took both a trad leading and rock rescue course with Vancouver Mountain Guides over the weekend. Our teacher, Eric Hughes, was highly knowledgeable, patient, and fun. For the rock rescue course in particular, he taught in such a way that we weren't just learning ''rope tricks''...

Just completed a three day Spearhead traverse guided by Tim. It was great, and Tim was amazing on multiple levels - route finding in 6 feet visibility blizzard, belaying us on a down climb, cutting steps for a boot pack, keeping us going when necessary and finding the right place...

I did a one day Top Roping course with Jake. He was an excellent guide: punctual, courteous, very clear with his explanations and giving instructions, regularly checking if everyone was following and understanding him. For absolute beginners in the world of outdoor climbing, thi...

Great bouldering gym, better than ground up in Squamish. The route setting is varied and technical, typically makes you think. Community here seems great too.

Wow, can’t believe this is just sitting in a park in Vancouver. I doubt this thing really ever gets climbed, yet it’s surprisingly good. Definitely can't beet the price! As you can see there is a bit of lighting on one side of the boulder, but bring a headlamp if you want to...

As a climber, finding this was a pleasant surprise. Someone put playground equipment for an Adult in a park. This should be considered a good outdoor option to introduce your friends or kids with climbing, in the city.
